Hey James. No sweat. Always a relevant question. I covered this in my disclaimer. I am expecting to take a position in HPK in the next couple of days. Everything I've been able to uncover-purely public filings, suggest it's a top pick for growth in this sector. Cheers, Dave
Hey Terry, thanks for the comment. A reminder. I am just a dumb old mud engineer-dumbest guy on the rig. Your thinking is a little abstract for me...at least as pertains to the substance of this article. Cheers big guy and happy investing! Dave
Cheers Terry. Still a teensy bit abstract for me, even with your illuminating rhetoric as an explainer. Mud engineers are very simple folk. We like a good material balance that suggests the well isn't coming to see us. Nice returns at bottoms up, suggesting we aren't losing to the formation. And, when we pull a few stands, the hole takes the proper amount of fluid. Simple things. The sweetness of life. Cordial returns big guy!
Hi Dave
Thanks for your thorough work ! Pardon the question but why do you not own any stock in HighPeak ? Seems irresistibly cheap ??
James

Terry which kind of mushrooms are your favourite ? Do they blur the distinction between abstract and concrete ? Maybe even liquefy concrete ?
James, I am thinking you and Terry could drink a beer. Your spelling of "favourite" might suggest an ocean lies between though. Cheers
I suppose one of the biggest risks is this:
I doubt takeaway will be a big issue here. If it is though, it's a problem for HPK's growth plans, as the default would be tanker truck and rail.
Is the lack of hedging also a bit of a risk ?
